This is a graphics novel about the true stories of two men, who share a connection spanned in time, by heritage and events.
Daniel Minor, at the age of 40 was pulled into the Civil War to fight for the 36th Georgia Infantry. We follow the movements of the 36th regiment and see how Daniel and his family struggle to survive the events of the Civil War.
41 years later a new generation begins with Daniel’s great grandson Hugh Minor.
At the outbreak of WW2, Hugh (age 38) becomes part of the Army Air Corps as a 1st Lieutenant. Being an early aviation pioneer for the North Georgia area and working for the famed Pan America Air Ferries in Miami, Hugh becomes a pilot for the Army Transport command.
As a result of Hugh’s first mission, he and 25 fellow service men show their bravery and self-sacrifice for themselves and their country.

Wow great illustrations. Great story of a families journey and the dedication to their country. What a great gift for the holidays.
I am the brother of the author of this book. I am quite impressed how he took hundreds of facts and figures and fashioned them into an enjoyable historical graphic novel. Through the narrative and art work of this book, I recover some important family history that may never have come to light except by my brother's efforts. If you love military history then this graphic novel will reveal two tiny but rich slivers of two wars that shaped the future of our country. If genealogy is your bag then this graphic novel will give you clues and pointers into the methods of recovering ancestral records. If you are interested in what a self published graphic novel would look like then look no further. I may be a relative but I highly recommend this graphic novel to all readers.
