Great book to finish out the series.Some of the interim books seemed to stretch out the series, and grasped a little for story line. This book has a lot of enjoyable action, some gripping realities of war, then really wrapped things up well (as much as I can say without spoilers). Probably my second favorite book in the series, right behind the first (Tomorrow, When the War Began).

I read to my kids a lot and I got this whole series to read to my 13 year old son. He loved them, and wished there had been more when we finished all of them.
Mighty fine! Good value, as described, shipped in the time frame predicted at time of purchase. Highly recommended seller!
There was so much build up from the rest of the series and all of a sudden the war was over. Other than that, it's quite a realistic portrayal of what could happen to people during and after a war and how it changes them. Well done
Rounded of the series well with drama action and reality of moving on with life after the war. As has been tried, the sequence of the books would make a great beginning to end movie and a tv series, the latter of which failed badly on ABC
John Marsden is one of my favorite authors. His work makes the characters realistic and keeps you on the edge of your seat in adventure. This book arrived in excellent condition, was shipped well and quickly.
I read all of the books in this series, and must say I enjoyed them all. It had a great story, great characters, and I enjoyed the fact that it gave is a view of the world down under. I thought the final book did a good job of pulling together all of the story lines. Well done.
This series is wonderfully written. The characters are so well drawn that you feel you know these people. And though war is an intrinsically dark subject this is an enjoyable read. Mr. Marsden wriTes with great insight, expressed beautifully. And as the daughter of a rancher I can testify to the accuracy of his writing about the pragmatics of ranching. I recommend this series without reservation.
